SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME

Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the Barcelona Breast Meeting (BBM 2023) to be held in Hospital de Sant Pau Old Enclosure, Barcelona again on March, 22nd – 24th, 2023.

As the world recovers from COVID- 19, we are sure that BBM 2023 will once again bring everyone together to share our ideas and more importantly, renew our friendships. The theme for this year is “How to achieve the excellence in all the fields of breast surgery” and “How we can improve the quality of life of our patients with an integrative approach”. We have built an exciting scientific program of 3 days consisting of live surgeries, video surgeries, plenary lectures, expert panel discussions and free paper sessions. We have also organised two pre-BBM symposiums, one about breast reconstruction in emerging countries and another about the essential techniques on breast reconstruction and breast aesthetic for residents and junior surgeons.

We are planning to perform live surgery to highlight trends and innovations in these fields and there will be video-surgery sessions showing tips and tricks of some of the leading world experts.

We are sure you will find this year’s program particularly motivating and inspiring.

Spring is a perfect time to visit Barcelona and we look forward to helping you have an enjoyable and rewarding experience. So, we are looking forward to welcome you all here in March!

Yours sincerely,

J. Masià & J. Farhadi
BBM 2023 Co-Chairmen
